POLK PARK

Polk Park is the official name for the recreational complex consisting of the ball fields, soccer pitch, fishing pond, and walking trail. Work is about to begin on features that were in the plan from the beginning—children’s playground with adapted equipment for handicapped kids, and some other features like a spray pad.

Construction is well under way on Vidalia’s William T. Polk Park expansion, set to become one of Louisiana’s largest parks with new playgrounds and community spaces near the municipal complex.
